🚚 Refrigerated Delivery (Outside Local Area)

For customers outside our local delivery zone, we ship using a specialist refrigerated courier to ensure frozen and chilled items travel safely.

We require 1 business day to prepare your order before it is picked up and dispatched. This includes checking stock availability, packing chilled items with care, and booking the courier.

Your order is then collected from our Newtown store and delivered according to the courier's regional schedule.

Deliveries to Ballarat are available onΒ Tuesdays and Fridays. To receive your order on a Friday, here’s how the schedule works:

  • Order placed: Monday (latest)

  • Packing day: Tuesday

  • Courier pickup: Wednesday

  • Delivery to you: Friday (same week if timing allows, otherwise the following Tuesday or Friday depending on courier schedule)

Because the courier requires 3–5 days from pickup to delivery, we strongly recommend placing your order at least one week before your preferred delivery day to avoid delays.

❗ Important Notes:

  • Chilled/frozen items are packed with ice packs and insulation but may arrive partially defrosted or fully defrosted. By ordering, you acknowledge and accept this.

  • All orders are shipped with Authority to Leave (ATL). If the driver determines there is no safe place to leave the parcel (e.g. exposed to sun or visible from the street), your order will be returned to our store, and a redelivery fee will apply.

  • Please include any special delivery instructions at checkout to help ensure a successful delivery.

  • PO Boxes and parcel lockers are not accepted β€” only residential or business addresses.

❗ Courier Booking & Cancellation Fees

Once your order is confirmed and delivery is booked with our courier, the delivery cost becomes non-refundable. If you cancel an order after we’ve booked and paid for delivery, a cancellation fee of $45 will be deducted from your refund to cover courier costs.

This is because third-party courier fees are paid upfront and are non-reversible once scheduled.

To avoid this, please:

  • Include any special delivery timing requests in the checkout notes

  • Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order
